Is my medicine covered by Aetna?
Most prescriptions will be covered without interruption. You can check if your generic or brand-name medicine is covered by Aetna in 2025 using the link here. During Open Enrollment, more information will be provided on how to check if your medicine will be covered in 2026.

Retirees: Visit the retiree page to learn more about plans and medicines available to you.
How can I keep using a medicine that's not on the drug list?
If a medicine you're taking will not be covered by Aetna in 2026, you will be able to receive a one-month supply to give you time to transition to a different medicine, if desired. If you choose not to switch medicines, you'll pay more out of pocket, so talk to your health care provider about finding a covered drug that meets your needs. If your doctor determines it's medically necessary for you to keep using a drug that's not covered, they can submit a request for an exception.
Contact your Aetna Concierge at 1-833-704-0009 (TTY: 711) during Open Enrollment for more information.
